| 1: How do I tell if a Vitamin E product is a Natural or Synthetic form? |
Our products are clearly marked on the front panel. If the product
has (d-alpha) it is a natural form of Vitamin E. If the product states that it
is (dl-alpha), then it is a synthetic form of Vitamin E. If it has both, it is
a mixed combination of both synthetic and natural Vitamin E.

| 2: What does the "d" and "dl" mean on a Vitamin E label?
When Vitamin E occurs naturally, it occurs as the "d" form only.
Hence, natural Vitamin E always has a "d" designation alpha tocopherol. When
Vitamin E is prepared synthetically, it contains about 50% "d" and 50% "l"
molecular rotations. Hence, synthetic Vitamin E has a "dl" designation.

| 3: What is the natural Vitamin E derived from?
Natural Vitamin E is derived from plant sources such as soy. Our
products contain many natural ingredients. The color variance you may see is
just the normal variance that occurs in nature due to the season, etc. (We do
not add anything to modify the natural color.)

| 4: How much calcium is required on a daily basis?

classifications are specific to vitamins.

| 10: What foods is CoQ-10 found in?
CoQ-10 is synthesized in the liver from elements found in such
foods as: (Per 3.5 oz) Sardines 6.4mg, Mackerel 4.3mg, Beef 3.1mg, Roasted
peanuts 2.7mg, Organ meats 2.1mg, Roasted Pistachios 2.0mg, Spinach 1.0mg,
Broccoli 0.9mg, Sweet Potato 0.4mg, Eggs 0.4mg, Soybean 0.2mg, and Potato
0.1mg.

| 11: What are the major benefits of CoQ10?
CoQ10 provides quality antioxidant support, which is essential to cellular
health. It is found in all vertebrates (animals with backbones), including man,
and it is a vital component of energy production. The highest concentrations of
CoQ-10 are found in the body where energy is needed the most, the heart, liver,
kidneys and immune system. *

| 12: How does CoQ-10 work in the body systems exactly?
In humans, CoQ-10 levels peak at about 20 years of age, and
decrease greatly with age. CoQ-10 has been extensively studied worldwide to
investigate its role in the maintenance of cardiovascular and immunological
health. The function is part of the cellular respiration comprising oxidative
phosphorylation as electron-carrying coenzymes in the transport of electrons
from organic substrates to oxygen esp. along the chain of reactions leading
from the krebs cycle.*

| 13: What are free radicals?
Free radicals are highly reactive molecules in the body, which can destroy
tissues by oxidizing cell membrane lipids and damaging DNA, the body's genetic
material. Free radicals are produced through the body's normal process of
metabolizing the air we breath and the food that we eat, as well as exposure to
tobacco smoke, excess sunlight, and environmental pollutants. Antioxidants work
in the body by neutralizing free radicals.*

| 14: Is CoQ-10 fat-soluble? |
Yes.

| 15: Why is
the color of the products I just purchased lighter/darker than the last bottle? |
Due to its natural ingredients, the color of a product may vary
between different batches. Color changes may also be caused by change of season
or location of where an ingredient is obtained. The variation in color has no
effect on the product.

| 16: What is the difference between a standardized extract and the whole herb product? |
By utilizing extracts, scientists attempt to identify one or more chemicals
from the herb they consider to be primarily responsible for specific effects or
activities in the body. Standardized extracts contain a consistent level of
specific ingredients in every batch.
Whole herbs, unlike extracts, may have some variability in ratios of specific
ingredients from batch to batch. Growing conditions, weather, soil composition
and harvest date are some of the factors that can influence a whole herb
profile, just as they can influence the nutritional composition of most foods.
However, whole herbs do offer the benefit of delivering all of the ingredients
found naturally as part of the herbs.
Sundown provides both standardized and whole herbs to provide the
consumers with the products that meet their needs the best.

| 17: Why do we make whole herb and extract products? |
We make both the whole herb and standardized extracts to meet the
needs of our customers. Some customers believe that the whole herb is needed to
get the best benefits. Others believe that only certain ingredients found in
the herb are necessary for the best results.

Like all dietary supplements, this product should be taken as

Vitamin C is water-soluble.

| 20: Why are there added ingredients, such as Rosehips, Hesperidin, acerola, rutin, or Bioflavonoids in Vitamin C? |
The added ingredients are natural sources of vitamin C and
bioflavonoids and are added as complementary ingredients to vitamin C.

| 21: What is the function of zinc? |
Zinc is an essential trace mineral that is necessary for protein
synthesis, which helps to regulate the production of cells in the body's immune
system function.*

| 22: What is the recommended daily intake for Vitamin C? |
The RDI for vitamin C (Adults and children 4 or more years of age)
is 60mg daily.

| 23: What is the function of Selenium? |

risk of certain forms of cancer. However, the FDA has determined that
this evidence is limited and not conclusive.
