Lean & Green Smoothie With Turmeric
The pears provide just the right amount of sweetness to overpower the celery and spinach, yet you’re still reaping the benefits of all three! That’s a win-win-win in our book.
- 2 ripe pears, sliced into chunks
- 2 celery stalks, sliced into chunks
- 2 cups spinach, torn
- ½ – ¾ cup water
- ½ tsp ground turmeric powder or ½ inch fresh turmeric root
- Add all ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve & enjoy!
Optional: ½ cup of plain or vanilla Greek yogurt (yields a thicker smoothie)
